OCEAN VIEW SUNDAY WORSHIP AT HOME

September 27, 2020

WELCOME

Before we come into God’s presence together this morning, prepare yourself and space for a time of worship— grab your Bibles and turn to the Ephesians 3, get comfortable, prepare your mind and heart with prayer. Now let us worship our Lord, as a people scattered throughout the city, in spirit and in truth.

Call to Worship

Now join in the call to worship by reading aloud together

Psalm 111: 1-3

“Praise the Lord. I will extol the Lord with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly. Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever.”

Sing to the Lord from your heart with joy and thanksgiving!

SCRIPTURE READING

Have someone read the Scripture for today.

“When Scripture Speaks, God Speaks.”

Ephesians 3: 20-21

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Offering

Prayer for the Offering

Have a family member pray for God’s continued blessing on the church.

Father, We praise Your Almighty Name! You have blessed our nation with immense wealth and opportunity. Lord, You have commanded us to honor You with our wealth, and I pray that You will be honored greatly this day as we give to You what is already Yours. Bless these gifts for your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We thank God today for your faithful and generous giving during this time of separation. During the Sunday closure time, we are directing people to give through our secure, online portal.

If you prefer to write a check you can still mail it to our church address or drop it by the church office:

1900 S. Western Ave. San Pedro, CA 90732
