OCEAN VIEW SUNDAY WORSHIP AT HOME
OCTOBER 25, 2020
WELCOME
Before we come into God’s presence together this morning, prepare yourself and space for a time of worship— grab your Bibles and turn to the Ephesians 4, get comfortable, prepare your mind and heart with prayer. Now let us worship our Lord, as a people scattered throughout the city, in spirit and in truth.
Call to Worship
Now join in the call to worship by reading aloud together
Psalm 149: 1, 3-5
“Praise the Lord. Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people. Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.”
Sing to the Lord from your heart with joy and thanksgiving!
SONG - blessed assurance
SONG - the goodness of jesus
SONG - love the lord

SCRIPTURE READING
Have someone read the Scripture for today.
“When Scripture Speaks, God Speaks.”
Ephesians 4: 11-16
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
