OCEAN VIEW SUNDAY WORSHIP AT HOME

july 5, 2020

WELCOME

Today, we celebrate communion – the day when we remember Christ’s death for our sin.

Before we come into God’s presence together this morning, prepare yourself and space for a time of worship and communion—grab your Bibles and turn to Ephesians 1, put together pieces of bread or crackers on a plate for you and your family to eat, as well as cups of juice/water to drink during communion.

We now come as a people scattered throughout the city worshiping in our homes. Even still we are one people, worshiping the one true God. As you participate in today’s worship, allow yourselves to worship the Lord with joy and thanksgiving.

As we plan to re-gather as a church for worship on Sunday, July 19th, we want to provide a safe and healthy environment for us to worship our Lord. Can you help us prepare by taking a quick survey!

SCRIPTURE READING

Ephesians 1: 19-21

PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

THE PURDY & BLANCHETTE FAMILIES

Offering

“Praise God from whom all blessings flow.”

Thank you for your faithful and generous giving during this time of “Safe Shelter.” We are able to fulfill all of our commitments to our ministries, staff, facility requirements, and missionaries. And for this we are grateful and give glory to God.

We are directing people to give through our secure, online portal during the Sunday closures.

We understand that many people are under financial stress due to layoffs or temporary shutdowns.  Those who are able to continue to faithfully and generously give to the Lord’s work here at Ocean View, we thank you and encourage you to continue with your blessings.

Prayer for the Offering

Have someone pray this prayer for the gifts given by God’s people today.

Gracious God, we thank you for the blessings of this and all our days. Accept, we pray, not just this money but also our lives freely offered in gratitude for all you have done for us. Use them both, in this place and wherever you might take us. Amen.

If you prefer to write a check you can still mail it to our church address or drop it by the church office:

1900 S. Western Ave. San Pedro, CA 90732
